Intensified colour and slight redness are normal and a part of the initial stages of healing. Be patient. Please do not freak out. Redness will fade in a few hours.
In a few days, the microstrokes we did will start to oxidize and form light scabs, and they might look a tiny bit darker and thicker. As the skin heals, your brows will begin to flake lightly and the strokes that we did will come off in random pieces throughout the brow. You might look slightly patchy throughout the week but remember that it is normal and temporary. Please refrain from picking at your brows as you run the risk of removing pigment in the process.
When the scabs fall off, do not feel discouraged if the strokes are not immediately visible and/or appear to have healed patchy. This is completely normal. Over the next few weeks as your skin naturally exfoliates your brows will gain strength in colour, settling between weeks 6 and 8. The healed result will be approximately 30% – 50% lighter than the first day.
If you start to flake: Stop patting wet and dry, and only use the balm when your timer goes off.
If you dont have any flaking: Don’t change your routine.
Full healing typically takes 10-14 days.

You can shower normally and get your brows wet, but avoid having the shower spray directly on them. Once finished with your shower, pat your brows really dry and put a little balm.
Other than face wash, avoid putting any other products on your brows OR forehead while they are healing. That means no cream, no moisturizer, no serums, no makeup, no spf, etc.
No working out. At all. This is not negotiable.
Avoid sun exposure until brows are healed. Wear a hat while outside.
Avoid picking or scratching at your brows. Apply balm if your brows are itchy.
Avoid any of these products on your brows OR forehead for the next 8 weeks:
Hyaluronic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid
AHA’s and BHA’s
Retinoids (Retinol/Retin-A)
Vitamin C
Once you are fully healed (approximately 2 weeks) you can go back to your normal routine (other than #6!)
Refrain from any waxing or hair removal in the brow area ideally for a month or more. The more hair present on the day of the appointment, the better. The extra hair growth allows us to tweak your brows into greater symmetry and shape.
If you are experiencing any blemishes, acne, cold sores, any other skin irritations, or have a mole in or around the area of procedure please contact Nu Tatu immediately with photos of the area via e-mail for assessment. It is up to the discretion of our artists to decide whether or not they have a workable surface. Failure to communicate any of these may result in a cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment. All deposits are nonrefundable.

The treated area has been sanitized and is starting to dry out. It’s important that you allow your skin to fully dry during the next 48 hours. This means you cannot get the area wet, no washing the area, no sweating, and no creams or products of any kind. Drying out the skin like this prevents any irritation and inflammation and will pull out more pigment in the process. Any redness of the skin will subside in the next 48 hours.
The treated area will now be quite dry, and a thin scab will have formed. You have been provided Cavilon barrier wipe for better and faster healing. Use the provided cavillon wipe to wipe your brows, ensuring that you cover the entirety of the scab and a little beyond the edges.
The scab will begin to lift and flake lightly as it heals over the next few days. Do not pick or pull at the scab. It is ok if the scab gets a little wet when showering or washing your face, but you must pat it dry immediately after.
Once all of the flaking has stopped, you are fully healed and can resume your normal routine.
